Field Directions

In Progress Projects

  • Putting in 10U base plugs on Fenway in order to facilitate more simultaneous games and practices. (There is a 5 foot base length difference between 8U and 10u).
  • We are putting clay paths* in between the pitcher mounds and home plate on Veteran's Field in order to lessen maintenance cost and upkeep, and is more aesthetically appealing than dead grass. * Clay path = dirt area a.k.a. no grass.
  • Fixing all gates on all our fields (9) in order to operate properly.

Recently Completed Projects

  • Wrigley, Camden, Fenway, Veteran's and Volunteer have all been resurfaced in 2021 Winter. (scraped & laser leveled infields, laid new sod and fresh cut base paths).
  • Laid 14 yards of top soil & 50 pounds of Bermuda Grass Seed across all fields to upkeep. During this process many holes were filled to improve player safety.
  • Completed a 100% audit of our sprinkler system; and in doing so we fixed the following: two leaks. Replaced 4 nozzles. Replaced 25 rotors. Raised 20 individual sprinkler heads. I
