CPYL is a 21 acre baseball/softball complex located in the beautiful city of Cedar Park TX, gateway to the Hill Country. The park consists of nine (9) baseball/softball fields serving the Northwest Austin area and central Texas since 1972.
“To support our local community in providing a facility for organized baseball and softball to play, learn and grow in an environment that is safe for our kids, parents and coaches.”
The annual membership exceeds 2,000 kids and offers baseball/softball from ages 4 – 18. The league has a fall and spring regular season which includes 20 regular season games (12 in the spring and 8 in the fall) plus approximately 8 tournaments per year. Our organization is a non-profit and is operated solely on a volunteer basis, we are not subsidized by any Optimist clubs nor does the city contribute any funding to maintain and operate the league. The maintenance and operation of the park is done exclusively through registration dollars, annual fundraisers, sponsorships and donations. Over the last three years we have anticipated and planned for the membership at CPYL to double in size. As a result, the park was expanded through a partnership with the City of Cedar Park that included two new baseball fields, state of the art lighting throughout the park, updated irrigation systems and a multi-purpose building. Over the last year we have renovated all of our fences, dugouts, and infields which was a substantial capital investment for the years to come. We welcome all to our beautiful park and look forward to serving you in the near future.
