The spring season is just around the corner and your board of directors has been working hard during December and January to make the upcoming season special for all involved. Below are several of the improvements we made in our continued pursuit of excellence at CPYL.
We have expanded and strengthened our softball organization with the addition of 5 new board positions.
The facilities organization will spend $70,000 this winter to remove and replace all fencing at Camden, The Diamond and Little Field. Your registration dollars are hard at work.
For the first time in league history we have opened up the National League for those managers who can meet the criteria found in the 2011 CPYL League Structure Document.
The strong registration numbers to date are already pointing toward a need for additional volunteer managers in all levels of softball and baseball. Please contact the age specific commissioner if interested.
We will be holding our annual membership meeting at Faubion Elementary School on Tuesday, 2/15 at 6:30PM for those members who would like to hear more about what we are doing for you.
Our field maintenance day is scheduled for Saturday, 2/26. The commissioners will work with the team managers to prepare our fields for the season beginning with the Pre-Season Tournament the following weekend. Additional volunteers are always encouraged to assist during field maintenance day.
