Cedar Park Youth League

I’d like to thank everyone for another great fall softball and baseball season.  Below you will see a summary of items the board will be working on this winter to provide our membership the best possible baseball and softball experience in 2011.

• CPYL will be the host complex for the Project Grinch Tournament on December 3-5, 2010.  You can get all of the details by clicking here.  Get on the website to register your team and we look forward to seeing you out at the park for this great holiday fundraising event.
• All fields will be closed beginning Monday, 12/6, 2010 to all organized baseball and softball practices until the spring season begins.  The only exception will be those CPYL affiliated ‘Select Teams’ who will be holding tryouts in December and January.
• Beginning January 1, 2011 the board of directors will reorganize by adding (5) softball specific positions.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the softball organization or know of someone who is, please contact Natalie Catalina or Kristy Fariss.  Their contact information can also be found under the Contact Us tab.
• Early registration has now opened.  Register between Monday, 11/15 and Friday, 12/31 to take advantage of our early registration rates!  For more information, visit the News tab on the websie or click here.
• The Board of Directors approved $50,000 for the repair and replacement of perimeter fencing and backstops on four fields.
• The Board of Directors approved the $351,600 annual budget for 2011.  To review the approved budget, visit the Library/League Documents of click here.
