Congratulations to the CPYL 7/8U NL Blue Thunder managed by Bobby Miller who won the championship game over the Austin Aces during the Project Grinch Wipeout Tournament on Sunday, 12/5.

 

 

 

 

 

In a wonderful tournament put together by Sam Bass and partly hosted by CPYL that benefited children’s charities, the CPYL Blue Thunder were proud to represent our league and bring a 1st place championship back to CPYL.  This open tournament brought in teams from all over Austin from the recreation level all the way to select baseball.  The competition was awesome and it was a pleasure to face the Austin Aces, a well run organization, in another fun championship.  The Blue Thunder were coached by Bobby Miller with help from Mike Alepa, Wade Ramsey, Barbie Tibbetts, and Todd Grabbe.  The Blue Thunder would also like to thank the Bulldogs and Vipers for their players who filled in.
