· The pictures will be taken at the concession stand. People are encouraged to show up early to get as many pictures taken as we can before the certification. Rocky will be taking photos from 7:45-8:55. If you miss this session we will be taking them throughout the morning as the training concludes at the various age groups.
· EVERYBODY must sign in before attending the certification training. We will have a list at each field. Those who are on the printed portion have been cleared through their background checks already. Unfortunately we have not been able to run any since Tuesday so many folks will not be on the list and will need to sign in on the manual sheet. Check in will be shut off promptly @ 9:15- we will begin checking in attendees at 8:00. If you help on multiple teams in different age groups, please just pick one to attend. If you are not on the list for checking in the league assumes you were not at the certification.
· Badges will be available on Sept. 1, for those who do not get them on Saturday- provided they complete the training and pass the background check. There may be a bottleneck at the badge station and if this happens we will simply take pictures only and print them at a later date instead of handing them out on the spot. Please be patient as this is our first try at this and we will be learning as we go so we can handle it better in the future.
· We have temporary badges which can be checked out at the concession stand before games for those who forgot their badge at a game or who missed the first two certifications but are needed for coaching. (we are working on a date for a third certification) To check one out you will need to leave your driver's license and sign it out in the book.
· Badges do NOT need to be worn during pay to play tournaments (pre-season and mid-season)- only for the league games and the end of season tournament.
· There is a manager's training session after CTUA's portion of the certification- the assistant coaches and parents in attendance do not need to stay, but may do so if you choose. This will entail going over drills, sample practice plans, age specific rules, and other things the managers need to know.
· You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair as there may be a large crowd in attendance requiring us to hold the certification in the OF grass of the field you are attending.
