Advanced Fielding Clinic with Jesse Garcia

Dates: Monday, August 17 through Wednesday, August 19

Time: 9:00 to 12:00 daily

Cost: $150

Location: Fenway Field - Cedar Park Youth League (CPYL) located at 1225 Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park.

This camp is designed for advanced players, ages 10 and up.  Camp participants will work on fielding ground balls, situations, cut-offs, relays and communication. They will rotate through a series of drills led by Jesse Garcia. It is a great way to polish up your skills in the field.

About Jesse Garcia:

Jesse Garcia has a 16 year professional career that included stints with the Baltimore Orioles (1993 - 2000), the Atlanta Braves (2001 - 2004) and the San Diego Padres (2005), as well as stays with the 2006 & 2007 Round Rock Express Teams and Cubs (2008). He was the first player to replace Cal Ripken Jr. when he made his first trip to the DL. Jesse played in the National League playoffs with the Braves from 01-04 as well as the Padres in 2005.

Jesse was rated the best defensive second basemen at every level in the minor leagues. He graduated from, Robstown High School in Robstown, TX in 1992; where he was the 1992 player of the year and helped lead the Varsity team to two state championships.
